Job Purpose:
As a key member of the Global Logistics team, you will facilitate logistics operations from Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to customers. Your role involves coordinating inbound freight, serving as the primary contact for logistics activities, including global transportation and distribution managed by third-party providers.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields, or has relevant experience. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, possess problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a right-first-time approach. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of customs procedures and Incoterms are advantageous. Excellent communication skills, organization, self-motivation, quick learning, and a passion for logistics and continuous improvement are essential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
You will manage warehouse and transportation activities, liaise with CMOs, warehouses, and stakeholders regarding shipments, oversee inbound product flow, monitor service delivery, ensure compliance, and support improvement projects. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory controls, import permits, destruction reports, customs compliance, and sample deliveries.
