Job summary

Engage Education are working with secondary schools across the Rochdale area to recruit a Graduate Lesson Tutor for the coming academic year. You will provide pre-set learning experiences for KS3 & KS4 across various subjects and gain valuable school-based experience on a supply basis.

This role offers a flexible schedule, ongoing free online CPD, a dedicated consultant, and the opportunity to build rapport with students while developing teaching skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree – 2026 graduates welcome!
• Experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring desirable
• Interest in pursuing a career within education
• Available to begin role in September 2026

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-set learning experiences for KS3 & KS4 across multiple subjects
• Work across multiple secondary subjects during the school day
• Create and sustain meaningful rapport with students
• Day-to-day supply role across numerous secondary schools

In this role as a Graduate Lesson Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide fantastic pre-set learning experiences for KS3 & KS4 students across a variety of subjects. This is a brilliant opportunity to work alongside experienced education professionals whilst developing your skillset and techniques in an educational setting.

Graduate Lesson Tutor – Role Benefits:
