Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a proactive Graduate Lesson Mentor to support KS3 and KS4 students across multiple subjects in Tameside. The role offers flexible day-to-day supply work within several secondary schools, helping you build classroom experience and practical teaching techniques.

Starting September 2026, you should hold a 2:2 UK degree (2026 graduates welcome) and be available to work at least three days per week. Training and ongoing CPD are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring desirable.
• Interest in pursuing a career within education.
• Ability to work minimum 3 days per week.
• Available to begin role in September 2026.

Engage Education are working with secondary schools across the Tameside area who are eager to find academically strong, reliable and outgoing Graduate Lesson Mentors for the coming academic year.

In this role as a Graduate Lesson Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide fantastic pre-set learning experiences for KS3 & KS4 students across a variety of subjects. This is a brilliant opportunity to work alongside experienced education professionals whilst developing your skillset and techniques in an educational setting.

Graduate Lesson Mentor – Role Information:

• Providing pre-set learning experiences for KS3 & KS4 students
• Working across secondary subjects throughout school day
• Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students
• Day to day supply role working across numerous secondary schools
• Located across Tameside secondary schools
• September 2026 to July 2027
• Paid £105 – £115 per day during term time
