Job summary

The Chalk Hills Academy is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to help support teaching and learning for individual or small groups of pupils. The role focuses on Literacy and Numeracy development and adapting resources to meet pupils' needs.

The successful candidate will contribute to pupils' academic and social development, work within a positive ethos, and collaborate with teachers and staff to plan interventions and track progress.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of how pupils learn and SEN needs.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above required.
• Experience in or with educational settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning of individuals or small groups.
• Assist pupils with literacy and numeracy activities and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan, deliver and monitor progress.
