We are working closely with a mainstream secondary school, seeking a learning support mentor to join them in a full-time position this September.
You will be required to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups (up to 3 students) across various departments and learning abilities. Your role includes providing support, motivation, and guidance to help students overcome obstacles in their learning. Some students may struggle academically, and your task is to help re-engage them positively in learning.
The successful candidate will support pupils who may have learning difficulties, mental health issues, lack of confidence, or family problems. You will help students develop coping strategies and raise their aspirations.
Previous experience in a similar school-based role is essential.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
