An established industry player is seeking dedicated individuals to support pupils with learning difficulties in a classroom setting. We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools.
The main purpose of the role is to work within a class team under the direction of the class teacher, usually in the classroom to support learning. Responsibilities include providing general support to the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom, and supporting pupils to meet their personal needs.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience working within specialist provision. We will provide professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment. It is also a valuable stepping stone into a teaching career.
