Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor for a three-form entry primary school in Tunbridge Wells. You will gain hands-on classroom experience by supporting teachers, delivering literacy and numeracy tasks, and helping pupils reach their full potential.

You will work across the school with pupils, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and help prepare resources. This position is ideal for graduates considering teacher training or educational psychology.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any subject relevant to working with children.
• Strong communication and literacy/numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small intervention groups.
• Assist class teachers with lesson delivery and activities.
• Help children develop confidence in literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum subjects.
• Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs where required.
• Prepare classroom resources and maintain an engaging learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress.
• Encourage positive behaviour and helping children reach their full potential.

Education
