Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor for a three-form entry primary school in Tunbridge Wells. You will gain hands-on classroom experience by supporting teachers, delivering literacy and numeracy tasks, and helping pupils reach their full potential.

You will work across the school with pupils, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and help prepare resources. This position is ideal for graduates considering teacher training or educational psychology.

• Graduate in any subject relevant to working with children.
• Strong communication and literacy/numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small intervention groups.

Engage Education is working with a large, welcoming three form entry primary school in South Manchester that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Graduate This is an excellent opportunity to build valuable school-based experience while making a genuine difference to pupils’ learning and development.

About the role

You’ll be working across the school, supporting teachers to deliver engaging lessons and helping pupils achieve their full potential. The role offers a mix of classroom support, intervention work and one-to-one assistance, making no two days the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a one to one basis and in small intervention groups
• Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Helping children develop confidence in literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum subjects
• Supporting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs where required
