Job summary

GSL Education Kent is recruiting a Primary Learning Mentor to support pupils in a welcoming Canterbury primary school. The role involves one-to-one and small-group guidance to boost literacy, numeracy, and social skills, fostering confidence and positive attitudes to learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children in primary settings and be patient, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school, educational or mentoring setting.
• Confident supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and positive attitudes towards learning.
• Support literacy, numeracy and wider classroom activities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
