Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a motivated Graduate Learning Assistant in Harrow, North West London, to support children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

You will work alongside teachers and other assistants to help pupils attain progress up to GCSE level, adapt to individual needs, and take observations and run sessions as directed by the teacher. The role starts in October 2026 with a daily rate of £95–£110.

Qualifications

• Degree is preferred, with mainstream curriculum subjects preferred (English, Maths, Science, etc.).
• Experience working with children is required.
• Understanding of special needs or learning difficulties.
• Enthusiastic and creative approach to learning.

An excellent secondary school located in Harrow are looking for a motivated GRADUATE LEARNING ASSISTANT who is able to work with children on a one to one basis and in small groups. The school highly values the importance of academic knowledge and are wanting to recruit someone who shares this ethos.

You will be working alongside the teachers and other teaching assistants to support children in their attainment and progress. You will need to support children's learning up to GCSE level, be adaptable accordingly to the needs of the individual children, and make observations and carry out sessions instructed by the teacher to improve progress.
