Job summary

Amey Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to contribute to climate-resilient landscape and public realm projects across the UK. You will work within a supportive team, gaining experience from concept through to detailed design, with mentoring to progress toward an Assistant Landscape Architect role.

The role offers hybrid working, mixing Birmingham office time with project site involvement and remote work as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Degree minimum 2:1 in Landscape Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of plants and construction materials.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop or SketchUp.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player, self-motivated and fast learner.

Responsibilities

• Support developing climate-resilient landscape and public realm designs from concept to detail.
• Contribute to landscape and LVIA, baseline studies and supporting reports.
• Assist in landscape strategies, green infrastructure proposals and mitigation plans.
• Develop planting plans, schedules, specifications and construction details.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and design reviews for high-quality landscapes.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive places that address climate, nature and community needs.
