Job summary

Lead Careers Ltd. is seeking a Landscape Architect in Birmingham with a focus on Landscape Planning and LVIA. The role blends assessment work with some design input, and offers hybrid working 2–3 days from home and in the office.

You will join a reputable practice, collaborating with senior staff on schemes and contributing to visual impact assessments and environmental design initiatives.

Qualifications

• A degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Proven track record in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and their application.
• Experience in landscape character assessment and appraisal.
• Creative interest in green infrastructure and environmental design and management.
• Good written skills.
• Good CAD/GIS and graphic software ability.
• Understanding of procedures and guidance relating to the preparation of visualisations desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels and within different disciplines.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Willing to travel throughout the country to undertake site visits.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Senior Landscape Architects on a variety of schemes geared towards Landscape Visual Impact Assessments.
• Incorporate design focus where applicable while prioritising assessment work.
• Support preparation of visualisations and technical drawings as part of LVIA projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to project delivery.
