Job summary

Bidwells’ Land & Development team in Cambridge seeks a motivated Graduate Land & Development Surveyor to grow within a structured two-year development programme. You’ll gain exposure to development appraisal, planning, and client delivery from day one, with APC support and a broad learning path across Residential, Planning, Commercial and Operational Living teams.

You’ll work with experienced professionals advising clients, build a strong foundation in development valuation and market analysis,

Qualifications

• 2:1 in a relevant, RICS accredited degree within Estate Management, Planning and Development or similar/equivalent.
• Passionate about Real Estate and Development.
• Awareness and understanding of issues affecting the economy.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook).
• Good interpersonal communication, both verbal and written.
• Excellent attention to detail and a flexible, adaptable team player.
• Enthusiasm and energy with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Research and valuations to identify residential development land opportunities.
• Coordinate documentation for tenders and sales particulars.
• Market single-build plots and small development sites; assist with larger sites.
• Draft reports on cooperation/option agreements and planning advice.
• Conduct site viewings and manage development opportunity databases.
• Prepare presentations for landowners and developers to win work.
• Utilise centralised system HubSpot for contacts.
• Identify opportunities for Bidwells services in land development and New Homes.
