Job summary

The Education Network in Wolverhampton is seeking a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant to support KS2 pupils through 1:1 work, small-group activities and general classroom duties. You will help pupils stay focused, complete tasks and build confidence across the curriculum.

This role suits a creative, reliable graduate aiming to gain primary school experience before progression into teaching or education; DBS check required or willing to obtain one, with a central Wolverhampton school

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
• Interest in primary education and supporting KS2 pupils.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, positive approach.
• Ability to work with pupils, teachers and support staff.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 pupils via 1:1 work, small-group activities and general classroom duties.
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and pupil engagement.
• Support the class teacher and contribute to pupils' progress.
