The Role:
This is a full-time, term-time role supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted academic support, both 1:1 and in small groups. You’ll assist with lesson preparation, help manage classroom behaviour, and ensure pupils are fully engaged and progressing in their learning. This is an ideal role for a graduate looking to build classroom experience ahead of a PGCE or teacher training route.
The Candidate:
The school is seeking a graduate with a genuine interest in education and a desire to pursue a career in teaching. Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude are essential. You must be confident working with children, adaptable to different learning needs, and willing to take initiative.
