Job summary

The Graduate Network in Cradley Heath is seeking a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant to support lower KS2 pupils through 1:1 guidance, small-group work and general classroom duties. You will help children understand tasks, stay focused and build confidence with the teacher’s support.

Ideal candidates are creative graduates who are patient, reliable and eager to gain primary classroom experience, with DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one. Immediate start for a role through July 2027.

Qualifications

• This role will suit a creative graduate who is patient, reliable and keen to develop their classroom experience.
• You should be confident supporting pupils at different ability levels, able to explain learning clearly and willing to get involved in all areas of school life.
• This is a strong opportunity for someone considering teacher training or a future career in primary education.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across lower KS2 through 1:1 guidance, small-group work and general classroom duties.

• Work closely with the class teacher to support routines and positive engagement.
