Job summary

Arvato in Birmingham is launching an IT Graduate Programme for recent IT graduates. Based at Hams Hall with travel to other Arvato UK sites, you will gain hands-on experience across IT support, systems, and digital transformation initiatives.

You'll work on first/second-line support, SAP and warehouse systems, infrastructure deployments, reporting and documentation, with mentoring and structured training. Full-time, 18-month programme, 40 hours per week, travel up to a month.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work both independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support to colleagues across the business.
• Support warehouse systems, SAP and business-critical applications.
• Assist with infrastructure, networking and hardware deployments.
• Work on IT and digital transformation projects.
• Support system upgrades, testing and implementations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand requirements and tailor technology solutions.
• Assist with reporting, system documentation and process improvements.
• Learn from experienced IT professionals through mentoring and on-the-job training.
• Travel for training and development, potentially up to one month at a time.

Qualifications

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to learn.

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking fundamentals.
• An interest in databases, cloud technologies, SAP or warehouse management systems would be advantageous.

Previous work experience isn't essential—we're looking for potential, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in developing a career in IT.
