Job summary

Kier Group plc. is looking for a Graduate Engineer with an interest in Instrumentation, Control and Automation. You will join the Infrastructure team and support the water team on a high profile project near Rickmansworth.

Starting salary is £31,000 per year with a potential car allowance of £4,750. This permanent, full-time 2-year pathway leads to an assistant level role on completion, with a salary potential around £38k. September 2027 start date.

Qualifications

• Related degree in Engineering.
• Excited about starting a career in construction engineering.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Implement control strategies to optimise water treatment processes.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients and suppliers to deliver on time and within budget.
• Prepare technical documentation: specifications, schematics, risk assessments and operation manuals.
• Ensure compliance with water sector regulations, safety standards and environmental guidelines.
• Review ICA installation and commissioning works on site for quality and asset standards.
