Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Commissioning Engineer to join its Infrastructure team across Leicestershire, assisting on Severn Trent projects. The role offers a structured 2-year pathway with progression to an assistant level, and a starting salary of £31,000 per annum.

Starting September 2027, the programme is permanent and full-time, with a salary potential around £38k on completion. A UK driving licence is required, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated in 2027 or within the last three years.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing, and executing commissioning activities across projects.
• Support system testing, calibration, and validation according to plans.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications to understand design and performance.
• Record and report commissioning data, test results, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with project engineers, design teams, and contractors to resolve issues.
