Job summary

Stantec invites graduates to join our 2027 Graduate Programme as Geotechnical Engineers in Birmingham. You will support site investigations, ground characterisation and geotechnical design across multidisciplinary projects within ourWater discipline.

You will work with local and national teams, developing technical capability and preparing reports while gaining experience through structured training and ICE/GSL pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Geology or Civil Engineering is required.
• Strong numeracy, writing and communication skills are important.
• Interest in working in the water sector and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support site characterisation and ground investigation activities.
• Assist with ground investigation reports and design calculations.
• Contribute to geotechnical design and supervision where needed.
• Collaborate with Water discipline teams on project delivery.
