Job summary

Mott MacDonald invites graduates to join its Geotechnics and Tunnelling practice across multiple UK offices. You will learn directly from seasoned geotechnical engineers, participate in training programs, and contribute to ground engineering projects including foundations, slopes, and earthworks.

This three-year Accelerating your Future program provides mentorship, hands-on work, and exposure to major projects and cutting-edge modelling tools such as Leapfrog and OpenGround.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Bachelor's degree obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected to achieve one of the listed disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare desk studies and plan ground investigations per Eurocode 7.
• Plan, supervise and report ground investigations; develop visualisation of digital ground data.
• Contribute to ground model interpretation and parameter derivation for design and risk management.
• Perform soil and rock mechanics analyses for foundations, slopes and earthworks.
• Collaborate with project managers and specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
