Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering (MSc/MEng).
• Good understanding of geology and geological processes in the UK.
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake geotechnical desk studies and design ground investigations.
• Assist in supervising fieldworks and liaising with contractors.
• Interpret ground investigation data and develop geotechnical design parameters.
• Produce ground investigation and geotechnical design reports (EC7).
• Collaborate with wider project teams to develop best-value engineering designs and communicate ground risks.
