Job summary

AECOM's Ground Engineering team in the UK&I offers a broad range of services from feasibility to construction supervision, with projects across energy, water, nuclear, transport, and land development. Graduates will work on desk studies, ground investigations, interpretation, and 3D modelling using Leapfrog and Openground, with access to AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other tools, supporting client delivery.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology with a 2:1 or higher.
MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics/Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/Civil 3D desirable.
Willingness to work away from home on sites and in other offices.

Responsibilities

Perform desk studies, site inspections, rockface surveys and geomorphological mapping.
Design, plan and procure ground investigations; supervise fieldwork.
Interpret geological data and prepare reports; develop ground models and geotechnical design solutions.
Use 2D/3D numerical analysis software and 3D modelling tools; contribute to client delivery.
