Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology with 2:1 or higher.
• MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; AutoCAD/Civil 3D desirable.
• Candidates with prior ground engineering work experience are preferred, though not essential.
• Willingness to pursue ICE/IOM3/The Geological Society qualifications.
• Full UK driving license preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Desk studies, site inspections, rockface surveys and geomorphological mapping.
• Design, planning and procurement of ground investigations.
• Supervision of ground investigation fieldwork.
• Geological interpretation and reporting of findings.
• Analyze geotechnical data and develop ground models and reports.
• Use Openground for data management and Leapfrog for 3D modelling.
• Work on foundations, retaining walls, slope stability and earthworks.
