Amey Ltd in Belfast is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer. Starting salary £31,000 with 40-hour work weeks and a September 2027 start date. The role offers mentoring from experienced engineers and exposure to major transport infrastructure projects across the UK.

You will work on desk studies, plan ground investigations, inspect assets, and contribute to design reports, with a focus on safety and professional growth within a supportive consulting team.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology is required or advantageous.
• Industrial experience or placement experience is not essential but beneficial.
• A Full UK driving licence is desirable for site visits.

Mansioni

• Produce desk studies to determine risk and suitable solutions with safety first.
• Plan and supervise ground investigations to inform geotechnical interventions.
• Carry out geotechnical asset inspections on major infrastructure in Rail and Highways sectors.
• Propose solutions to engineering problems and perform calculations and analysis.
• Prepare specifications, drawings and design reports.
• Deliver multidisciplinary schemes in collaboration with colleagues from across Amey Consulting.
