Job summary

Stantec in the UK is recruiting a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the Buildings discipline in Plymouth or Exeter. You'll work with a team of engineers delivering building projects across sectors, assisting with analysis, drawings, and design under supervision.

The role aims to develop professional accreditation (IEng/CEng) and offers a supportive environment with tailored development, exposure to BIM and collaboration with MEP, geotechnical, and architectural teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum BEng Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office.
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design software.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
• Prepare specifications and sketches/drawings.
• Carry out structural inspections.
• Attend project meetings.
• Develop 3D Revit models and drawings.
• Collaborate with other designers across projects.
