Jensen Hughes in Edinburgh is launching a Graduate Fire Engineer programme for 2027 starters. You will join a global team delivering fire engineering studies on diverse buildings, learning through a two-year development plan and CPD while contributing to innovative safety solutions.

The programme supports Chartered status and offers hybrid work discussions, mentoring, and early responsibility within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or Physics.
• Right to work in the UK or Ireland.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fire engineering analysis on a range of new and existing building projects.
• Analyzing fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance and smoke control using a variety of methods including CFD.
• Preparing technical reports and liaising with clients, including major developers.
