Job summary

Jensen Hughes in London is seeking a Graduate Fire Engineer to join our UK & Ireland team. You will contribute to fire engineering projects while receiving mentorship and hands-on experience across multiple buildings and clients.

The role offers early responsibility, professional development towards Chartered status, and a supportive environment with hybrid working. A Master’s in a STEM field and excellent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK or Ireland.
• Master’s degree completed within last two years or expected in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or Physics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Additional qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fire engineering analysis on a range of new and existing building projects.
• Working across a diverse range of buildings, including high-rise office buildings, large retail complexes and airport developments.
• Analysing fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance and smoke control using methods including CFD.
• Preparing technical reports and liaising with clients, including major building developers.
