Job summary

Hoare Lea in Bristol is seeking a Graduate Fire Engineer to join one of the UK’s largest building engineering consultancies. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and architects to develop fire strategies for healthcare, hotel, retail and residential projects while gaining exposure to CAD and Revit modelling.

You’ll benefit from structured training, mentorship, and opportunities to pursue Chartered Engineer status through our development framework and access to advanced fire engineering tools.

Qualifications

2:2 or above in an Engineering Council accredited degree (Fire Safety Engineering preferred)
Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
Ability to work in a team environment and independently

Responsibilities

Work across sectors (healthcare, hotels, retail, residential) and contribute to fire engineering designs
Produce detailed designs and drawings
Use CAD and Revit for modelling and documentation
Participate in CPD and training to pursue Chartered Engineer status
Assist with fire strategy reports and life-safety analyses
