Job summary

Hoare Lea, a leading UK building engineering consultancy, invites applications for a Graduate Fire Engineer in London. You will gain exposure to residential, healthcare and commercial projects, with CFD and life-safety design experience as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will benefit from a structured training programme, mentoring, and support towards Chartered Engineer status, enabling early responsibility and broad career development across varied projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 2.2 or above from an Engineering Council accredited program.
• Ideally Fire Safety Engineering or equivalent (Building Services, Structural, Mechanical).
• Desire to progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed designs and drawings for fire engineering projects.
• Use CAD and Revit to model building designs and fire strategies.
• Participate in CPD and training, and learn from senior engineers.
• Review designs for compliance and propose bespoke fire solutions.
• Undertake smoke and temperature spread calculations and CFD analyses.
