Job summary

WSP is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our UK & Ireland team, helping shape infrastructure, energy and development projects by assessing ground conditions and supporting design, reporting and construction activities across major schemes.

Beginning September 2027, you will participate in our two-year Graduate Development Programme, with mentoring, structured learning and opportunities to travel to sites while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 2:2 or higher in Civil, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology
• Starting September 2027
• Interest in geology and ground engineering for civil projects
• Willing to travel for site work

Responsibilities

• Assist with ground investigations, data interpretation and reporting
• Support design work and construction activities across major projects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical solutions
