Job Description:

We’re proud to be partnering with a well-established engineering consultancy who specialise in providing specialised technical support and analysis within complex engineering projects, who are recruiting for a proactive and detail-focused individual to join their growing team. With a strong reputation for precision and reliability, they work on projects that demand the highest standards of engineering integrity and operational excellence.

Their ideal candidate will be organised, detail-focused, and confident working across different teams. Experience in a business support or admin roll, ideally in a technical or engineering setting is advantageous. You should feel comfortable reviewing technical documents, have strong written communication skills, and be familiar with quality and document control processes. Being confident with Microsoft Office and able to juggle tasks across departments will also help.

The role offers a competitive salary of up to c£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and work-life balance. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review and edit technical documents and engineering reports for accuracy and consistency
  • Support the QA and HSE Managers with compliance and legislative documentation
  • Assist with proposal writing and social media updates in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Maintain and organise project folders in line with internal procedures and the QA manual
  • Carry out internal audits to ensure processes meet company standards
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Business Manager

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience in a business support or administrative role, ideally in a technical or engineering setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Confident editing and reviewing technical documentation
  • Solid understanding of document control and quality assurance processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
