Job summary
Hoare Lea is recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer in Birmingham. You will join one of the UK’s largest building engineering consultancies, gaining exposure to a wide range of projects across healthcare, hotels, retail and residential sectors.
You will produce detailed electrical designs using Revit and other modelling tools, visit sites, and learn from mentors to progress toward Chartership. Expectation is to develop technical skills while benefiting from CPD opportunities, a 9‑day
Qualifications
- IET or CIBSE accredited Electrical Engineering degree with 2:1 or higher
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Friendly, ambitious and confident with a flexible and resilient approach
- Masters or postgraduate qualification
- Placement/work experience in similar industry
- Understanding of CAD or similar modelling software
Responsibilities
- Work on live projects from day one across healthcare, hotels, retail and residential sectors
- Produce detailed electrical designs and drawings
- Use software like Revit, Dialux, Relux, and Electrical OM
- Undertake site surveys and research new technologies
- Engage in continuous CPD and development activities
- Communicate with project teams, clients and end users
