Job summary

Mott MacDonald invites graduates to join our Electrical Engineering cohort in the energy sector, based in Brighton. You will join collaborative project teams, gain real project experience and learn from experienced engineers, with a mentor and Accelerating your Future development program.

Qualifications

<12 months relevant experience (excluding placements).
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected to be earned by then.
Security clearance may be required depending on project and UK nationality/residency rules.

Responsibilities

Support optioneering, feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to identify practical, sustainable solutions.
Contribute to concept and FEED design, including equipment selection and cost estimates.
Develop detailed electrical designs, calculations, specifications, drawings and BIM models.
Use data and engineering software to test performance and manage interfaces.
Support procurement, construction, commissioning and operation to ensure assets perform as intended.
Collaborate with utilities, network operators, developers, contractors and regulators.
Prepare technical reports and present findings to project teams and clients.
