Job summary

Arup in London is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Energy team to support low carbon energy projects. You will engage in high-level infrastructure sizing, power systems modelling and grid connection studies, with opportunities to contribute to renewable feasibility and masterplanning studies.

We require a Masters in Electrical Engineering, proficiency with Python, MS Office and Excel, and ideally experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower or DIgSILENT.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in Python, MS Office and Excel.
• Desirable: experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower or DIgSILENT.
• German language skills are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• High-level power demand modelling to size infrastructure for masterplans.
• Renewable energy feasibility studies and owners’ engineering roles.
• Preliminary design of primary and secondary substations.
