Arup is seeking a graduate mechanical engineer to support our Energy team in London. You will work on low carbon energy projects, including district heating, cooling, and district-scale energy systems, contributing to feasibility studies, detailed designs, and whole-system modelling.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or Physics, with Python and MS Office skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience or interest in low carbon energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Renewable energy feasibility studies and owners' engineering roles.
• Detailed design of piped systems, including district heating and cooling.
• Low carbon energy system strategies and whole system modelling.
