Job summary

Curtins is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join our employee-owned engineering consultancy, focusing on developing practical, innovative and sustainable solutions across diverse sectors. From day one, you'll work on live projects alongside experienced engineers, learning how designs progress from concept to construction while contributing to drawings, reports and documentation.

You will be supported by a structured graduate development programme through the Curtins Graduate Academy, with

Qualifications

• A degree (or predicted) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Interest in shaping sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and delivery of a wide variety of projects across sectors.
• Support engineering calculations, analysis and design development.
• Assist with preparation of drawings, reports and engineering documentation.
• Learn how engineering designs progress from concept through to construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines to create integrated solutions.
• Gain exposure to client meetings, project management and commercial awareness.
• Develop an understanding of industry standards, regulations and best practice.
• Participate in STEM activities and Curtins events.
