Job summary

Curtins is a leading engineering consultancy in the UK, recruiting a Graduate Design Engineer to join a supportive, employee-owned team. You’ll work across structures, infrastructure, drainage, and sustainable design, contributing to live projects from day one.

You’ll receive a structured development programme, mentoring, and exposure to client meetings, with opportunities to progress toward professional registration and Chartership.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative approach and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Interest in sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and delivery of a wide range of projects.
• Support calculations, technical analysis and design development.
• Help prepare drawings, reports and documentation.
• Learn how designs progress from concept to construction.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Gain exposure to client meetings and project management.
• Develop understanding of standards and best practice.
• Participate in STEM activities and Curtins events.
