Job summary

Curtins is an employee-owned engineering consultancy with 65+ years of experience delivering practical, sustainable solutions across the UK and Ireland. As a Graduate Design Engineer, you’ll join a supportive team of engineers and designers, gaining exposure to live projects from day one.

You’ll work across structures, infrastructure and civil disciplines while developing through our Graduate Academy, with mentoring, regular training and the chance to contribute to major regeneration, education,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Interest in sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of projects across multiple sectors.
• Support engineering calculations, technical analysis and design development.
• Assist with preparation of drawings, reports and documentation.
• Learn how designs progress from concept through to construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create integrated solutions.
• Gain exposure to client meetings, project management and commercial awareness.
• Develop understanding of industry standards, regulations and best practice.
• Participate in STEM activities and Curtins events.
