Secondary schools across Fareham are currently seeking Graduate Cover Supervisors to join their teams and provide essential classroom support during teacher absences. This is an exciting opportunity to step into the world of education, develop vital professional skills, and gain hands-on experience that can open doors to a future teaching career or broader work in the education sector.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity of learning when regular teachers are unavailable. Rather than delivering new content, your primary responsibility will be to supervise classes across a range of subjects and year groups using pre-prepared lesson materials. You'll ensure students stay on task, provide assistance where needed, manage behaviour in line with school policies, and report back to teaching staff on the progress made during lessons. While you won't be expected to teach in the traditional sense, your presence will be key in creating a positive, productive classroom atmosphere where learning can continue uninterrupted.
