Job summary

Mitsubishi Power EMEA invites a recent graduate or early-career engineer to join the Engineering Department as a Graduate Control System Engineer. You will support control system design, troubleshooting, upgrades, documentation, testing and site implementation with a focus on reliability, availability and safety.

The role is development-focused, with work across control systems, industrial networks, digital solutions and cybersecurity, including hands-on site assignments and cross-team

Qualifications

• Graduate-level education in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, Systems Engineering, Automation, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Fluency in business English.
• Strong interest in control systems, industrial automation, power generation, digital solutions and cybersecurity.
• Basic knowledge of control systems, control logic and interactions with operational equipment.
• Fundamental understanding of industrial communication protocols and basic IT/OT networking.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of Mitsubishi Power control systems for turbines and generators.
• Provide design, implementation, troubleshooting and technical support for control systems.
• Assist with fault identification, problem-solving and technical investigation.
• Support hardware and software updates and upgrades to control systems.
• Participate in site work to apply upgrades and support solutions.
