Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc invites applications for a Graduate Construction Manager across our Regional Buildings team in Birmingham. You will join the 2027 Early Careers programme, gaining hands-on experience, taking on real responsibility and developing through structured training and accreditation.

You will work with senior managers to support remedial works programs, coordinating site operations and contributing to safe, high‑quality delivery on major projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or relevant field.
• Minimum 2:2 honours degree.
• Curious, proactive and motivated to develop professionally.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with different people.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities to ensure safe, efficient delivery aligned with project requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules and technical information to support delivery.
• Plan and deliver task briefings, permits and safe systems of work on site.
• Monitor progress and support programme delivery through reporting and reviews.
• Manage site records, quality documentation, inspection records and construction information.
