Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Building Services Engineer to join our Mechanical & Electrical team in the Northampton region, based in Rushden. The 2-year programme is permanent and full-time, beginning September 2027, with a clear path to an assistant level role and salary potential up to around £38k.

You will support tendering, pre-construction, design, construction and commissioning of MEP building services, collaborate across project teams, and gain structured insight into our business

Qualifications

• Degree in building services engineering or related fields is required.
• Interest in building services engineering and sustainable design.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or Revit is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development and construction of building services systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop concepts meeting client specs.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data for designs.
• Support testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of systems.
• Coordinate with architects and stakeholders for integration.
