Edmundson Electrical is recruiting a Graduate Commercial Sales Trainee in Chester to train across multiple departments and become a customer-facing sales professional. The program offers a £31,000 basic salary plus a lucrative profit-share scheme and structured on-the-job training.

You will rotate through various functions in one year, gaining product knowledge and market exposure, with progression into external sales and potential management roles across Edmundson's UK network.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can also work on their own initiative.
• Role may require occasional Saturday morning work as the business trades 6 days a week.
• You have finished studying and are ready for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Based in a branch, you will start training in a warehouse learning about products, procedures, market, customers and suppliers.
• Then you will work through departments including the trade counter to develop long-term skills.
• Around month 3 you will start selling by contacting lapsed/dormant accounts and self-sourcing new accounts.
• You will receive extensive sales training to equip you for a successful sales career and progression into external sales and management.
