Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking passionate Graduate Civil & Structural Engineers to contribute across Energy sectors in the UK, including Transmission & Distribution, Nuclear and Defence, and Hydropower. You will work with experienced professionals on meaningful projects that support Net Zero, public health, and resilient infrastructure.

You’ll be mentored through a three-year Accelerating your Future programme, with training, rotational exposure, and opportunities to grow within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
Bachelor's degree obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected.
Disciplines: Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design phases.
Civil works design including earthworks, embankments, and drainage systems.
Structural design covering foundations, beams, columns, and connections.
Feasibility studies and optioneering to identify optimal solutions.
Site visits to assess conditions and support construction phases.
