Job summary

Mott MacDonald is offering graduate civil engineering opportunities across Transmission & Distribution, Nuclear & Defence, and Hydropower sectors in the UK. You will work with experienced professionals on meaningful projects shaping sustainable, resilient infrastructure.

Aimed at graduates with a Civil or Structural Engineering background, these roles support early career development with mentorship and a three-year programme.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (obtained no earlier than 2025) or expected.
• Some opportunities may require a master’s degree as indicated in the application form.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design phases.
• Civil works design including earthworks, roads, drainage systems.
• Structural design covering foundations, beams, columns, connections.
• Feasibility studies and optioneering to identify optimal solutions.
• Site visits to assess conditions and support construction phases.
