Job summary

Stantec Inc. invites applications for its 2027 Graduate Programme in Derby for a Graduate Civil Engineer.

You will join the Civils team, supporting local water projects and collaborating with regional and national teams across the UK. You will gain early responsibility, assist with design, calculations, drawings and documents, and visit construction sites to understand delivery from concept through operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Demonstrated collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support civil engineering design across project stages from planning to construction.
• Produce calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Attend meetings and visit construction sites to learn delivery processes.
• Contribute to a range of water and infrastructure projects in the Derby office.
