Job summary

Barhale, a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure specialist, seeks a Graduate Civil Engineer for the @one Alliance Anglian Water programme in the East of England. You will gain hands-on experience across major infrastructure projects, working with seasoned engineers to build your career in civil engineering.

Qualifications

• A 2:2 degree or above in BEng or MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural engineering
• Good knowledge and experience of undertaking structural calculations for various concrete structures using British Standards/Eurocodes and related guidance
• Demonstrable design experience in Water/Wastewater civil structures and competency in engineering software tools such as TEDDS/Tecla, Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Robot, CIVIL3D, Revit

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and construction of water treatment works, pipelines, pumping stations, and flood defences
• Undertake site visits, inspections, and surveys to support project development
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports under guidance of senior engineers
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, environmental engineers
• Support project management and stakeholder engagement across delivery stages
• Ensure all work aligns with health, safety and environmental standards
