Job summary

@one Alliance in East of England is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team and deliver innovative water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You’ll work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams across feasibility to construction, developing technical knowledge and contributing to real-world outcomes.

You will learn to apply British Standards, Eurocodes and industry guidance while using CAD and design software to support projects and client engagement.

Qualifications

• BEng, MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum 2:2.
• Knowledge of structural calculations for concrete structures.
• Understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes and industry guidance.
• Experience or knowledge of civil engineering design in water/wastewater.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Robot, STAAD Pro or TEDDS.
• Ability to produce clear technical sketches and communicate design ideas.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Chartered Engineer status desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver civil engineering designs for water/wastewater projects.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Apply engineering principles and standards to designs.
• Support feasibility, optioneering, detailed design and construction.
• Produce technical sketches and modelling data.
• Assist with risk assessments and H&S documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and suppliers.
