Job summary

Barhale Holdings Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the Anglian Water capital programme in Peterborough. You will gain hands‑on experience across major water infrastructure projects, with mentorship from senior engineers and structured development paths.

You will undertake design, site visits and reporting while building your technical and professional competencies toward a long‑term civil engineering career.

Qualifications

A 2:2 degree or above in BEng or MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural engineering.
Demonstrable experience in structural design calculations using BS, Eurocodes and other standards.
Experience in designing civil engineering structures in Water/Wastewater projects and proficiency with MS Office and engineering software.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and construction of water treatment works, pipelines, pumping stations, and flood defences.
Undertake site visits, inspections, and surveys; prepare drawings, specifications, calculations and reports under senior engineers.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers.
Support project management and stakeholder engagement across delivery stages.
Ensure all work aligns with health, safety and environmental standards.
